my opinion falls thusly...
i felt horrible for mcbride, because from the sound of it, he was WAY over tonight(and rightfully so) and botched the finish(although lj sloooowly crawling his way up the table didnt help much...-_-)
blkout trying to steal the whole damn show for themselves did not pan out at all, and at drake & pinkie's expense.
heel blkout doesnt feel right at all without kingston & joker. you need the muscle and the crazy. otherwise, what've you got?
it feels like theyre working their way towards putting the necro/havoc angle on the backburner...bad fucking juju.
the tag title 4 way was definitely a bright spot, easily the match of the night. hit all the right buttons. definitely deserves a spot on the best of 2008 dvd.
cobein, cobian, cookie crisp, whatever the hell his name was, looked green as fucking hell tonight. bad enough the guy's more or less a complete unknown getting a title shot in his first official match, he couldnt swing a chair to save his pecs.
finally...gage/moore...had the potential to be sick, and ended up, imo, dropping the ball. big time.
im sorry, but if your fists are taped and glassed, youre surrounded by fucking barbed wire, and there's barely been a drop of blood shed the whole night, so you KNOW the crowd is gonna fucking pop for every big spot, what in the blue hell would compel you to do - not one - not two - but THREE guardrail bumps, end it with ANOTHER goddamn run-in, and to not even hit the fucking wire more than 2 or 3 times...
gage is fucking gage. you arent gonna hear a foul word about him from me.
but if moore's supposed to be hot shit after winning KOTDM, and they just handed him the biggest match he's ever had in the dub, and what couldve been a great fuckin deathmatch, where the hell was the effort?
sorry for the fury, but that just really killed my buzz.
its like diving in a barrel of titties and coming out sucking your thumb...just not fucking cool.

Yea I felt real bad for Mcbride too. He was doing great up until the finish. I'm glad they switched it up atleast and he ended up putting him through a table though. Afterward he was apologizing, which was classy.
Cobein was ok I guess, I was pretty surprised when he did that one turnbuckle spot.

I thought the show turned out really good with very little down time. I enjoyed the main event even though the stipulations weren't used to full potential.
I couldn't pay attention to Drake/Ruckus because I was right by the kid who was fuming and was dying throughout that match over it. |

This is CZW... it don't matter what the internet says here!
btw, I guess that the rain was so heavy that wrestlers would have been in real danger trying to wrestle out there, so I can't really blame them. Also, wrestling in the open air during a thunderstorm is not the best idea ever
