So far it has been Josh Abercrombie over delirious for the belt. Then Homicide over Punk. Ian came out and thanked Punk for everything he has done because next Sat. at ROH is Punk's last indy match before he goes to the WWE.

He won a title shot with Austin Aries last month. I will be in Morristown for this one. Should be an amazing atmosphere...although maybe they didn't want it known it was Punk's official last match....

I don't want Punk to go to WWE. They'll kill him just like they killed London.

I'm one of his fans anyway so I'll always watxh him even if he is a HEaT jobber. He needs to go on RAW, I'll only watch HEaT if he's on it.

What???? I'm just predicting what will happen. If Punk is a main eventer in 2 years then I'll still watch him. If he's a HEaT Jobber, I'll watch him. I don't care, he's still on TV, and at the big time.

I was actually being sarcastic, since you seem to think WWE "killed" London. He got a tag title and he is the cruiser champ....not too shabby. If by "killed" you mean toned down his style, maybe you have a point.

Sorry to clog up this thread for people expecting live PBP.

Here comes another one of my anti-anti-wwe rants, but I'll try to keep it short, and too the point.

Every wrestler aspires to make it to the big show. That's the reason they get into the buisness. Congrats to Punk for accomplishing what is surely one of his dreams.

For those who say that WWE will just kill him, look at the past. Sure there are alot of indy stars the WWE "killed" but at one point, or another all of them were on the indies, in one promotion or another. So for every 20 wrestlers that they "killed" they made 1 superstar. I mean, it's like saying that since the kids from UNC get drafted into the NBA, the league is going to kill them. And I suppose the NFL killed Ryan Leaf, and Paul Tagliabue should be hung for it right? If they have the entire package, the in ring talent, the personality, the looks, then they can succeed. London hasn't been killed in the WWE, he's gotten a hell of alot of chances to prove himself. If you think he got killed because he's not main eventing, look at his size. He's a cruiserweight. Punk has the total package, and he's going to go places. Just look at how much offense they let him get in on his heat match. Punk really was put over by the bookers in that match.

Punk has always been a normal wrestler in style the only move I think WWE might take out is his Pepsi Plunge but Punk can win matches with out that move

Annaconda Vice would be used a lot more

I'm pretty sure Venis called and "put over" CM Punk in that match. It was a usual "jobber"/Val match on Heat that are always good.
