Interview
with Sexxxy Eddy
(posted
1.31.05)
Sexxxy Eddy: Friday, April 23rd, 1999 was my first official match in a ring at my College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
CZWFans.com: Who trained you?
Sexxxy Eddy: Heavy Maxx Fury (competed in CZW's Best of the Best - the year Tony Mamaluke competed) & Marc the Grizzly (from New Year's Madness & Mid-Summer Madness fame)
CZWFans.com: What were some of the places you worked earliest in your career?
Sexxxy Eddy: Montreal, Quebec region in Canada. Mainly for IWS (in the beginning was known as WWS) and NCW in my first 2 years. Travelled to Ontario & Newfoundland, but remained north of the U.S. border.
CZWFans.com: Were you a wrestling fan growing up?
Sexxxy Eddy: Of course, first match that I remember as a kid: Hulk Hogan vs. The Big Boss Man in a steel cage. WOW, I wanted to be the hero. I wanted the crowd to cheer for me. That's what I wanted to do.
CZWFans.com : And, were you, as a child, more intrigued by the personas
of the more sexually provocative characters on television like Rick Rude and
or Shawn Michaels and how much of them is incorporated into your
character?
Sexxxy Eddy: Character personas played a huge influential role on me. Playing the part well wasn't good enough, when some wrestlers came out that curtain, they had to become their characters, that's what got my attention. Shawn Michaels made the girls scream, and he was able to beat his bigger opponents in credible matches (he gave them the greatest matches of their careers ex: Diesel & Sid Vicious)
CZWFans.com: At what point did you realize the comedic potential the “pretty-boy” gimmick had and was that the original trajectory of the character?
Sexxxy Eddy: It's sad but true, originally all I wanted was a girlfriend. I was also able to take quite the beating through football, rugby and amateur wrestling. I thought that I could be the practically naked guy that all the women want. Unfortunately, that did not work. Only until I realized that I really love professional wrestling and that I was doing it for the passion of the sport and for the crowd reactions. That's when chicks really started noticing me. Now I complain when I simply want to sleep and another girl climbs aboard the "Sex XXXpress". It's really hard to keep a girlfriend when I enjoy grinding my crotch on so many different girls. As long as the crowd enjoys the show, I will keep delivering the goods! Given the chance, Sexxxy Eddy still has a lot of tricks in his g-string!
CZWFans.com: Having spent your earlier years as a wrestler in Montreal, can you comment upon the perception of CZW as a promotion internationally and among international wrestlers?
Sexxxy Eddy: It's amazing! CZW has that special following of die-hard
fans that just keep coming back and wanting more. I've never had such an encouraging
and heart felt reaction from any other crowd when I came back from TOD 3 and
wrestled on "High Stakes 2". That's when I knew I was here to stay!
Every wrestler in Canada wants to make it in the States, since wrestling is
so much bigger. CZW is world-reknown as one of the Top 5 promotions in all of
North America. To wrestle even once in the legendary Viking Hall is such an
honor and a privilege. To showcase my talents during, as well as before my matches
with my ritual strip, and receive such praise from the legions of CZ f'n W fans
is an incredible feeling!
I may have had it a little easier being able to wrestle in the States. Ever
since my dad had become a member of "the mile high club", having sex
with an airflight attendant. While on duty, on a flight from Vancouver, Canada
to California, my mother gave birth to me! I was sucking on a breast before
I even touched the ground!!!
CZWFans.com: Did that perception change after the Hardcore Ninjaz and Green Phantom worked for the promotion in 2002?
Sexxxy Eddy: Not really. Their experience wasn't very positive, I believe they needed more ring refinement before "being thrown to the lions". Either: 1)the fans love you, 2)they hate you, or 3)they just don't give a shit! Once your foot's in the door, you want to aim for #1 or #2, #3 is NOT an option that any wrestler willingly shoots for.
CZWFans.com: How did you react to winning your first IWS title?
Sexxxy Eddy: I knew the hard work had finally all paid off! The fans wanted it to happen and I rightfully deserved it. My first match that night was a #1 contender's match. The champ, TNT at the time, had made sure that his opponent was incapable of competing that night of October 30th, 1999. He thought that he was home free without a match, and more importantly without a title defense. Then my music hit, and after my second match, I became the IWS Heavyweight Champion for the first time (almost a 6 month reign). I won the IWS Heavyweight Championship for a second time on October 6th, 2001 (and held the title for nearly 7 1/2 months).
CZWFans.com :What were some of your early, long term rivalries in Montreal?
Sexxxy Eddy: Long term rivalries included the unlikely pairing of "a
dancer and a drug addict" in PCP Crazy Fuckin' Mannny, we were "Crazy
Sex". I eventually turned on him to go my own way.
My rivalry with TNT continued throughout the years, and our ongoing battles
would take place not only in the IWS, but through 5 or 6 different federations.
Years later, "Sexxx & Violence" was formed between myself and
The Arsenal. He would later destroy me after we were unable to advance to the
third round of an IWS Tag Tournament, and form his own army. My last encounter
saw me pin him in TOD 3, but he caused enough damage to render me unable to
advance to the finals of the tournament.
CZWFans.com: Who were your most important/enjoyable opponents in your early career?
Sexxxy Eddy: Most important matches for me was my match against Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake in June 2002 because of his wrestling status. Tremendous athlete, and as professional as they come. Wow, I'm in the ring with a wrestling legend! TNT for his comedy relief and his smart ass remarks made the crowd really want me to kick his ass. The Arsenal and I had matches from 2001 to 2004, we never seem to hold back on each other. People can say what they want about his size, but he delivers one hell of a beating!
CZWFans.com: Can you talk about how you saw the IWS promotion expand during your early days as a wrestler?
Sexxxy Eddy: It grew from a watering hole bar in a makeshift ring, into the most prominent and promising Canadian federation today. Just look at the talent pool! IWS wrestlers have really made a mark since September 11 in CZW "High Stakes 2", the follow up to TOD 3. We are in demand right now, and have already performed in CZW, JAPW, Chikara, PWG and ROH, and it has only been 4 1/2 months. Expect big things!
CZWFans.com: What happened to the promotion after it was purchased by Wild Rose productions?
Sexxxy Eddy: Women, women, women!!! I really don't need to say anymore.
CZWFans.com: And did the relationship between pornography and IWS effect the birth of the Sexxxy Eddy character?
Sexxxy Eddy: The perfect blend of the IWS violent hardcore wrestling style & Wild Rose productions was a marriage made in heaven for Sexxxy Eddy. It only added depth to my character, with the depth of the Wild Rose girl's throats, if you know what I mean! My passion for wrestling and pornography have been ever present since I was a little "Sex XXXpress" junior.
CZWFans.com: But do you believe that the connection between porn and wrestling in the IWS dilutes the appeal and novelty of the Sexxxy Eddy character or do you think it benefits it?
Sexxxy Eddy: In the end, whatever the direction of the company, I am the one responsible for the appeal and novelty of Sexxxy Eddy. Having a different girl every month pleasure me can only benefit me! Thank you Wild Rose productions!
Sexxxy Eddy: I'm known as "rubberneck" by those who have wrestled me. They've said that I can't be broken. I thank my endless sexual encounters in the bedroom for my flexibility. Sex is like a workout, always aim for that extra pump and always aim for her face (it's harder to remove from her hair afterwards).
CZWFans.com: In general, is the integration of pornography and more sexually progressive elements in wrestling something that you believe benefit’s the product?
Sexxxy Eddy: If the crowd loves it, then go with it. In the end, the fans decide what direction wrestling goes. If it can add diversity to the product, then I believe the integration of pornography is beneficial. As long as an added element does not take over the product and become the main draw.
CZWFans.com: How have the girls from that industry meshed with the locker room and with the promotion in general? Was there any difficulty in incorporating them due to their past occupations?
Sexxxy Eddy: An interesting mix at first, but a beneficial mesh. The girls with the egos hit the road, those willing to learn were welcomed with open arms (and open legs due to my selective but professional veteran judgement).
CZWFans.com: What is the origin of the “head-drop” heavy style that IWS is renowned for?
Sexxxy Eddy: Can't really pin-point it. We've just been able to do it for 5 1/2 years and no one has died yet (knock on wood). It sucks to be categorized as "head-drop" heavy style when we offer so much more. We offer something for everyone: innovation, storylines, technical, high-flying, strong style, comedy, sex and alcohol! What more could you ask for!
CZWFans.com: You, in particular, seem to excel at taking such bumps, how important do you feel that is to establishing your uniqueness as a worker and, more specifically, how does it compliment your particular gimmick?
Sexxxy Eddy: I'm known as "rubberneck" by those who have wrestled me. They've said that I can't be broken. I thank my endless sexual encounters in the bedroom for my flexibility. Sex is like a workout, always aim for that extra pump and always aim for her face (it's harder to remove from her hair afterwards).
CZWFans.com: When were you approached by CZW?
Sexxxy Eddy: I was called by Zandig in May 2003 when he had seen my clip tape and he wanted me for TOD 2, but I had to decline.
CZWFans.com: It has been explicitly stated by Zandig that you were supposed to take part in the second Tournament of Death in Dover, Delaware. What conditions prevented you from participating?
Sexxxy Eddy: I had recently come back into wrestling May 2003 from a serious injury tearing all the ligaments in my right shoulder and I was not ready for a death tournament. I'm glad I took that extra year to heal, improve, and learn. My timing in CZW could not have been better.
CZWFans.com: Is there a general sense among workers in Montreal that branching out into the United States is essential to becoming a veritable “player” in the indy world? And is there a feeling that the promotion and the scene in Montreal in general is undeservedly overlooked by the internet smark community?
Sexxxy Eddy: The more promotions you work, the more you learn. You can't
improve if you never branch out and leave that "comfort zone" that
so many wrestlers become accustomed to, due to laziness and knowing that they
can only get "over" from their own fed in their hometown. It is essential
to branch out if you ever want to be considered as a veritable "player"
in the indy world.
There is an over abundance of wrestling federations in the Montreal indy wrestling
scene. Hundreds of people call themselves wrestlers, but like in every state,
there are only a hand full that are complete and can do it all, deserving to
call themselves wrestlers. Therefore Montreal cannot be judged by simply one
federation. In my opinion, not simply because I wrestle there, but because I've
wrestled in every promotion that means something in the province of Quebec -
16 feds to be exact, I am the most qualified to say that the IWS overall is
the best federation throughout the province of Quebec. Trust me when I say that,
no one can argue with me. IWS is finally getting its due now by the internet
smark community.
CZWFans.com: You were introduced to CZW fans only moments before you gave a lap dance to John Zandig’s wife. Before the events of the tournament led to an unexpected surge of popularity what were the long-term plans for your character? Was there talk of you entering into some sort of a feud with Zandig over the issue with his wife?
Sexxxy Eddy: No long term plans at all. If you could win over the respect of the crowd, you are invited back. That's how it works. Tapes could only do so much justice, John saw my potential for CZW in person and capitalized on it, inviting me back on the spot for the Sept.11, 2004 show. The fans were introduced to an arrogant pussy in my first match, but embraced me after my second TOD match as a charismatic hero with a big cock!
CZWFans.com: Can you try to describe your mindset as you realized that your arm was gushing blood at TOD?
Sexxxy Eddy: That was Sexxxy Eddy 100%. If I was not completely in my character, then I may have acted extremely differently. The crowd played an incredibly huge role in the outcome of my unforgettable actions in drinking my own blood from my spurting artery.
CZWFans.com: What do you say to pundits who view that as the sole reason for your popularity? In YOUR mind, how much did the arm incident factor into the development of you as a fan favorite?
Sexxxy Eddy: It had a huge influence on my popularity, and it gave an opportunity to other IWS superstars to make their U.S. debuts. As for being the sole reason for my popularity, I've been wrestling for 5 1/2 years, that MATCH was no accident. The accidental arm incident was just the cherry on top for what many people had already deemed as the death match of the tournament, even before the "surprise ending". It only scared the shit out of me later that night when I had already come out of the hospital. It wasn't your average "smash 'n' bash" death match, there was actual wrestling in the match, which surprised several fans. Sometimes wrestlers are unfairly judged by one single match, my short but ever growing body of work in CZW must be considered: TOD 3 (2 matches), High Stakes 2, COD 6, and Gen Z. And already the fans are excited to have me as a tag team champion (Team Ca$h - with Chris Ca$h, "Spyder" Nate Webb, & J.C. Bailey)!
CZWFans.com: How aware were you of the surge of popularity you experienced online immediately after the incident and, if at all, how did that change your goals or long term plans in relation to CZW?
Sexxxy Eddy: It took a while before it actually sunk in. People were calling me left and right, since rumours had been circulating that I had died in Delaware. It was only when my music hit at the Sept.11th show (49 days & 19 stitches later) and the thunderous ovation I received, that I realized the impact I had left in the minds of the CZW fans. The "please come back" chants we received after our IWS 4-way solidified the return of myself, El Generico, eXeSs, and Kevin Steen to the U.S., and definitely in a CZW ring.
CZWFans.com: How were you treated when you returned to Montreal?
Sexxxy Eddy: A hero's welcome by the internet followers, the same usual reaction of adoration from those unaware of my CZW debut, and even more indicent proposals by the ring side ladies than ever before!
CZWFans.com: Jumping forward a few months to your next CZW appearance; Can you describe the mindset of the IWS 4 before the High Stakes how? It appeared that the IWS guys were very determined to make a memorable showing. Did they view it as a “make or break” match?
Sexxxy Eddy: Definitely, I was already loved. It was crucial to make a memorable showing since in this one match, 3 of the 4 wrestlers were making their CZW debut, even their U.S. debut. We all belive that every match deserves to be treated as a "make or break" match. One bad showing can seal your fate and eventual demise in this business. There will always be someone waiting backstage to jump on the opportunity if given the chance. Kev, Generico and eXeSs continue to impress and turn heads and I couldn't be more happy for them.
CZWFans.com: What was the reaction of the CZW locker room following such a blow away performance on a “PPV taping”?
Sexxxy Eddy: Very positive reaction from everyone who congratulated us after our match. As opposed to many selfish locker rooms in Quebec, the CZW locker room is extremely professional. Everyone realizes that the greater number of excellent matches can only result in even more success for the company. More success = more exposure = more fans = even more success!
CZWFans.com: What changes have you seen within IWS since yourself, Generico, Steen and others have emerged as stars in US independents?
Sexxxy Eddy: A reason to better our work rate and not sit back and rest on our laurels. Now that Smart Mark Video covers the IWS, we are now seen and recognized internationally. We continue to work as hard and constantly improve in every aspect of the company from the wrestling, management, lighting, commentary, music, etc...
CZWFans.com: Does that sort of success in anyway disrupt the continuity of the notoriously tight knit IWS locker room?
Sexxxy Eddy: Our U.S. dates may present conflicts with our IWS schedule, but in diversifying our talent, our product receives more exposure. This also gives others the chance to step it up a notch in the IWS and headline. Fans are understanding, and our script writers can take care of any situation at hand.
CZWFans.com: How did the angle with you and Trent Acid in IWS come about and what was the original direction of the angle?
Sexxxy Eddy: As IWS was making waves, Trent agreed to take part in a few shows, you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. I was set to face Trent in October, since he couldn't make the September show after his August debut. Smark Mark Video took over at the video helms in September. Apparently Trent & SMV had a bad history together. Trent made some disparaging remarks and threats toward SMV, and IWS had to make a decision. Trent for 1 or 2 more shows, or SMV for a long and bright future of outstanding quality video work and international exposure. The choice was simple.
CZWFans.com: What did you think of Trent’s comments on his hotline about the IWS workers?
Sexxxy Eddy: I've never actually heard them, just heard about them. It's too bad that his mouth gets him in so much trouble. Listen to the crowd chant on the JAPW show "Halloween Hell". If the volume hasn't been adjusted on the DVD (I was backstage at that show after my match), you hear the crowd telling Trent what they think about his hotline. We would have had a great match together. I still look forward to wrestling Trent possibly in the future in another fed than the IWS. No hard feelings, just a little disappointed that's all.
CZWFans.com: What did you think about the buildup to your participation in COD? Did you feel that your inclusion was emphasized as well as it could have been given your popularity?
Sexxxy Eddy: Not as much build up as the other participants that were named before me, but the suspense was killing the crowd and made my official inclusion in COD 6 at "A Night of Infamy" that much more important to the fans. To be given that much build up after 3 matches in only 2 shows was more than I could ask for. To be mentioned by Joker was the icing on the cake.
CZWFans.com: What were your general thoughts working the COD show?
Sexxxy Eddy: Another opportunity to prove myself. Once again, 8 people are given the ball and told to run as far as possible with it. We did just that and fans will remember this match for a long time.
CZWFans.com: Does the show have the sort of weighty reputation internationally that it does in the states? Were you expecting as large a crowd as turned up?
Sexxxy Eddy: I really didn't know what to expect. Fans from Canada, the U.S., even Germany and England (I was there wrestling the 19, 20 for WXW and 21 for IPW:UK) were asking for my thoughts for that huge event. I didn't know just how important COD is for CZW until I walked out from the curtains on December 11th, 2004. I had yet to see COD 5, even the final details of the regulations were not set until show time. The crowd was amazing!!! I couldn't ask for anything else, maybe with the exception of not getting a concussion at the end of the match after my elimination.
CZWFans.com: How long before the show did you know the format of the COD match you were participating in?
Sexxxy Eddy: Moments before the match did I realize, "just stay alive and hang on to win". No one wants to be eliminated, especially with the CZW tag straps on the line. Throw as many Blackout members to the floor as possible, that's all I really needed to know.
CZWFans.com: Can you describe the sort of unique pressure going into a match that is expected to be not only entertaining but also violent? Is there a different kind of nervousness amongst the workers and how, if at all, does that effect the preparation for the match?
Sexxxy Eddy: There is always pressure for every match no matter the size of the crowd. I have yet to do a match that isn't both entertaining and violent. What made me most nervous was the intensity of the fans and the expectations of crazy ass bumps in this match. How do you really prepare for a structure such as the "Cage of Death"? The only time that it is completely built is right before the match! COD is arguably the biggest CZW event of the year. We were in the double main event at CZW's biggest show of the year! That's nerve-racking!!!
CZWFans.com: How are big bumps decided upon for a match like COD?
Sexxxy Eddy: "Who's game and what are we willing to do to win?"
CZWFans.com: Did you feel you were used well within the framework of the COD match in terms of getting substantial spotlighting and offense?
Sexxxy Eddy: Sure, I did my shit. I helped eliminate Eddie Kingston. I should've been there for "Spyder" Nate Webb if I would have seen it coming. I would've liked to stay in longer, but you take a chance when you go for the risky death defying moves. You may take yourself out, but you can render your opponents unconscious. Thus inabling my teammates to take advantage and eliminate the competition. We won the match and the tag team title belts. In the end, that's what really mattered - that Team Ca$h wins.
CZWFans.com: What is your opinion of the Team Cash gimmick? Do you think it benefits or inhibits your growth as a character and name in CZW?
Sexxxy Eddy: Done properly, this will benefit everyone. The wrestlers get the opportunity to work with and learn from different talent for each title defense. Some workers may even find that certain combinations compliment each other tremendously, resulting in stronger teams. For the fans it builds anticipation, you don't know which 2 to expect for a title defense. It keeps them guessing and leaves several possibilities. Depending on our opponents, we can strategically send out the best 2 for the match at hand. Our adversaries have the challenging task of having to prepare against a possibility of 4 wrestlers. As long as there is unity in Team Ca$h, we will always have the belts in our camp. We will continue to grow and that may very soon include more gold in our elite group. We share the belts, but we also share our women! So combine all the groupies for 4 different wrestlers, now that's a selection that will definitely promote growth in my pants!
CZWFans.com: Do you think that, at the moment, CZW is recognizing your tremendous popularity and, if so, do you feel that they properly accounting for it when developing your future angles and/or matches?
Sexxxy Eddy: I'm a CZW Tag Team Champion after 4 matches for only 3 different shows! What does that tell you? My 5th show coming up in February "Only The Strong: Scarred For Life" and already I've been given a shot against "The Next" Alex Shelley the CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion! I'm on fire and undefeated in CZW! And that streak will continue through February and all the way through 2005! Just sit back and watch!
CZWFans.com: What are your general thoughts on the match with Excalibur and Super Dragon in January?
Sexxxy Eddy: First off Blackout had no business there during or even after the match! They had no f'n business getting involved a month after we kicked all their asses! Excalibur & Super Dragon are an incredible team never to be taken lightly. Anytime SBS want a rematch against Tean Ca$h, we will gladly put the belts on the line. As a matter of fact, we will not back peddle from any team that want a shot. Take a number boys and get in line! We're targeted by every team, but that's the price you pay to be the Champs.
CZWFans.com: The spot in which you sent Excalibur reeling to the floor by removing your pants will be remembered as a hilarious moment. What were the origins of that particular spot?
Sexxxy Eddy: Hey, if I get cut off from doing my pre-match strip with a hot, young female from the crowd, I get mad! Excalibur felt the wrath of the "Cock Block"! He's never seen one that big, up close and in his face before. Any closer, and I would've cock slapped him. Naturally it scared the crap out of him. It's the standard reaction, but the ladies quickly warm up to it and appreciate the satisfaction.
CZWFans.com: Did the original plan call for the post match dancing to be stopped by Maven Bentley or was that a result of the tightened Athletic Commission guidelines that were giving the promotion problems all evening?
Sexxxy Eddy: Blackout will continue to stick their noses in our business as long as the straps are with Team Ca$h. We are 4 strong, but we have to keep looking over our shoulders. Ruckus, Sabian or King might try and jump us at any time. "Primo" Robby Mireno or Maven may add stipulations and cause contract difficulties for us in defending our straps. But it's the ultimate low blow when I am restricted to perform my "Sexxxy Dance"! I need to share my God given gift with all the beautiful women! Presently, I am unable to escort a girl to the ring and let her live out her wildest fantasies. Thanks to Maven Bentley's legally binding paperwork, any future dances can result in my suspension from CZW. Or even worst, Team Ca$h can be stripped of the Tag Team titles! I will eventually find a loophole in Maven's dirty work, and like every hole put in front of me, I will proceed to fuck the shit out of it!
CZWFans.com: Do you anticipate being monthly for CZW for the foreseeable future?
Sexxxy Eddy: Do you want to see me monthly in CZW? As long as the fans want me, I will be there!
CZWFans.com: Do you have any aspirations of working in the WWE?
Sexxxy Eddy: Realistically speaking, not really. I'm not gifted at 6'6" weighing in at 300lbs. Nor is my daddy in the wrestling business. It would be great doing what you love doing, performing in front of huge crowds every night, and getting paid big for it! But I will take it as far as I can. I would love to wrestle in as many States, and in as many different countries possible representing the IWS and CZW.
CZWFans.com: What are your ultimate goals in the promotion?
Sexxxy Eddy: As every wrestler aspires in the promotion, I'm gunning for the biggest prize, the CZW Heavyweight Championship! I will push myself to the limits to obtain as many CZW Championships on my quest for the ultimate goal. I would defend my title in any country, against all adversaries, at any time.
CZWFans.com: Where do you see yourself at this time next year?
Sexxxy Eddy: A staple in Combat Zone Wrestling. Although I was not trained there, when fans chant "CZW", I want them to know that that includes The Triple X "Sex XXXpress" Sexxxy Eddy!
Fan Submitted questions:
CZWFans.com: How does one weigh Cockmeat? (submitted by “Kayoss”)
Sexxxy Eddy: You could use a scale on a table, whip it out, and slap that bad boy strait on... but if the table is not leveled properly, the results will not be precise and may vary. You could have it done scientifically... but the practice of "cocktology" is extremely expensive and you need your own cocktologist (the waiting list is really long, it took me 3 years). My personal favorite "Kayoss", call it trickery or call it sex-smart, I like to weigh a girl beforehand on a scale. Then I insert my erect member deep inside her. Take down the total, do the math, and voila!
CZWFans.com: What thoughts do you have on your UK tour? (submitted by “UK_Mondo_Mark“)
Sexxxy Eddy: Enriching. I met a lot of good guys who love wrestling just as much as I do. Great pool of talent with a vast knowledge of all that is wrestling. Great fans who are extremely appreciative of what we do. I would have loved to stay longer, see more of the sights, and wrestle in more of the federations throughout the U.K. to fully learn the European wrestling style. I would love the chance to return anytime. Cheers "UK_Mondo_Mark"!
CZWFans.com: Were you really receiving oral sex during IWS Bloodstream in October? (submitted by “½ Pound CZW“)
Sexxxy Eddy: Would I really be able to resist having a girl on her knees with her face merely inches away from my cock?!? C'mon "1/2 Pound CZW", if you've got the fish on your bait, reel that baby in!!!
CZWFans.com: How does it feel to get a giant ovation before walking through the curtain? (submitted by “BigCat8”)
Sexxxy Eddy: Simply incredible "BigCat8"! Extremely heart felt! Words cannot describe the feeling. I finally felt rewarded. For all the years I had spent in front of small crowds, all the injuries I sustained, all the training I put in, and all the pain I put my body through had finally paid off. I was deeply moved and I am so grateful for all the fans that come out every show to encourage and support independant wrestling. Thank you!
CZWFans.com: How much of your gimmick is your real personality? (submitted by “BigCat8”)
Sexxxy Eddy: Every character is based on a part of that person. I can't say exactly how much of Sexxxy Eddy is my real personality. But what I can say is, that when the tongue comes out and the pants are down, it's time to please! You know what I'm talkin' 'bout "BigCat8". The Sexxxy comes out whether I like it or not.
CZWFans.com: Is your character taken from Christopher Daniels, who used the same gimmick early in his career? (submitted by “njjeff73“)
Sexxxy Eddy: I was not aware of that "njjeff73". If I would
have known, I might of asked him for some words of advice backstage at a show:

CZWFans.com: What is the origin of the trashcan moonsault? (submitted by “roll camera”)
Sexxxy Eddy: Surprisingly enough "roll camera", I created it in my first professional wrestling match in a ring in April 1999. Instead of placing your opponent on a chair and then hitting a moonsault, or performing a moonsault with a chair in your hands, I thought why not! Without practicing it first, I botched it and almost snapped my ankle. I guess it's a combination of innovation and insanity. I call it the "Garbage Sault"!
CZWFans.com: Who is the next breakout star to emerge from Canada? (submitted by “hammerva”)
Sexxxy Eddy: After me, several have followed. Kevin Steen and El Generico are in demand right now. Beef Wellington is slowly gathering a large American cult following. The Flying Hurricanes will be introduced to the U.S. very soon. Kid Kamikaze and Damian will be showcased in the near future. Including you "hammerva", the crowd will decide who they want to see and who will emerge as the next breakout star.
CZWFans.com: Given that (to my knowledge) the move is original, what inspired the “Total Sextacy”? (submitted by Andy)
Sexxxy Eddy: The "Total Sexstasy" is a combination of a cannonball senton bomb, with a backwards motion. Leg and arm strength are necessary. And a rubberneck is necessary, in case of accidents. My move can be considered as a total body workout - just like sex. It renders your opponent conscious yet unable to move, dazed and confused as if they were high. A natural blend of pain for them and pleasure for me. Once again Andy, it's a concoction from my psycho mind.
CZWFans.com: Approximately how many women have you slept with? (submitted by Andy)
Sexxxy Eddy: Using my fingers, toes, and other extremity, I can only get to 21. Now Andy, does that include one night stands? blow jobs? threesomes? orgies? gang bangs? Check out the back of my T-shirt for some of my lucky victims (on sale at www.sexxxyeddy.com or at a CZW, IWS, or other indy show with me on the card).
CZWFans.com: What are your thoughts on the following? Ron Jeremy, Pamela Anderson, Dirk Diggler, ECW? (submitted by “loud fan”)
Sexxxy Eddy: Here are my thoughts on the following "loud fan":
Ron Jeremy: Personal hero and "my other tag team partner":
Pamela Anderson: The best of both worlds, she's from Canada but her tits
are from the U.S.A.!
Dirk Diggler: Porn legend who hit rock bottom, but that doesn't hide the
fact that like me, he also has a big cock. Mark Wahlberg didn't do him justice
(note: it wasn't really HIS at the end of "Boogie Nights").
ECW: Inspiration. ECW made me realize that there is something else out
there. Something ballsy, something crazy, something better! And now I wrestle
for CZW, in the same f'n arena that all the ECW Superstars performed in! It's
a humbling feeling.
CZWFans.com: Thanks a lot for your time, Eddy. Good luck in the future.
